David and Katie Palmer
Marketplace Missionaries in America
About seven years ago, David and Katie Palmer felt God was calling them to something more but had no idea where to start. As a family they were led to foster a couple children in 2009 and one they were able to adopt as our own in 2011. Meanwhile, they were also serving in a new church plant and, as they continued praying, Africa was placed on their hearts. In faith, they put their house on the market and it sold in a month! The Lord then prompted David to share his faith with everyone at work (2,400 people) by leaving a tract at every person’s desk. The Lord moved in many great ways through this, but as a result David was also fired, further sealing their determination for full-time ministry. In April 2014, they took a trip to Uganda and were touched by the people and the work that God is doing there. Although the journey since has taken quite a few twists and turns, they want to be used wherever the Lord places them.
The Palmer Family is currently living in Kenosha, WI and ministering monthly at New Hope Church in that community. They regularly attend Prayer House Assembly of God where they assist with the worship, nursery, and early morning prayer ministries. Simply put, the Palmers love to minister to people in any way possible. David and Katie are licensed through Pray Tell Ministries.
David is currently employed in a maintenance position and loves talking to co- workers about Christ. Katie is a stay-at-home mom and homeschools their three daughters Alyssa (17), Emily (15), and Dee Dee (6). David and Katie have been married for 18 years.
